Known for his profound knowledge of Scripture and ability to preach with great passion and clarity, St. Anthony became one of the most beloved saints in Church history. His life of humility, charity, and devotion to the poor inspired thousands during his lifetime and continues to draw hearts to Christ today.
He died at the young age of 36 in Padua, Italy, and was canonized less than a year later due to the many miracles attributed to his intercession.
